The Metaphysical Studies Group is a 501(c)3 under the International Association for New Sciences (IANS) charter.   The Metaphysical Studies Group was created to encourage the scientific, quantifiable, and philosophical study of metaphysics, and to support individuals and organizations working towards this goal.   We collect donations to provide to researchers, provide equipment to be borrowed for investigations, hold and/or sponsor investigations and special events, and provide support in whatever way we can. 

Our definition of metaphysics is that which is currently outside the scope of conventional physics, such as the subjects regarded as the paranormal.   These fringe areas often consist of phenomenon that can be experienced and/or observed.  However, they do not have enough data, or recorded evidence to be incorporated into conventional studies.   By studying and focusing on the metaphysical, it is our goal to help collect compelling information to better understand these fields ourselves and to aid conventional science in understanding these areas enough to one day adapt them into serious university and conventional study.   The implications these studies present are highly significant and suggest potential quantum leaps in human understanding of ourselves, the universe, and the reality we experience.
